What a fab day! Nearly 500 people attended and it was a beautifully sunny (and crisp!) fall day in Southern Wisconsin. The entertainment was rockin' and kid activities were constantly bustling. So fun!
Despite a little rain and chilly weather, another fun event was had! About 300 people attended at Blue Mound State Park, with the Naturalist-led hike being the favorite must-do activity of the day. Go HEADRUSH!
HEADRUSH 2005 was also a grand success! The weather was beautiful and over 300 people came to enjoy Governor Dodge State Park, the fabulous entertainment, and the health fair. In '05, HEADRUSH once again raised over $50,000 for brain tumor research and education!
The inaugural HEADRUSH event took place on October 2nd, 2004, at Governor Dodge State Park in Dodgeville, WI... it was a smashing success! We exceeded our goals, expectations, and hopes in every capacity. (especially considering it was our first year!) We were thoroughly impressed by the healthy turn out, the unconditional support, and the funds we raised for brain tumor research and cancer community centers. Over 300 people attended HEADRUSH 2004 and we raised over $50,000!
